Spent hours on this piece of garbage. I know that the ink number is 88 for Epson. THEN GO TO MAINTENANCE ON NEXT SCREEN7. It must have fallen out one time when I took my black ink cart out to replace it.
Its a pain, error always seems to happen when I am connected to internet, hence my suspicions, but it works maybe for a few weeks and then happens again. It is the same ink that was provided by the company I bought the printer from and I have been using it for the past 6 months. help!! It would be really awesome if some enterprising hardware hacker out there could come up with a way of permanently disabling the cartridge checking in Epson printers as this seems to dud micro-chip on cartridge or 2.
