I'v been working on this for a week or so already. Have you tried booting with the recovery disk to get the cmd prompt? Please remember to be considerate of other members. - I then burned BitDefender to check for viruses and get important data off the laptop.
- Before reloading windows and losing all your data you still have to see if chkdsk can correct your hdd errors.
- I'll try the f11 button and see if I can acquire an install cd somewhere then report back.
- Dell Diagnostic Tool showed me Error code 0F00:0244 a 0F00:1A44 through hdd diagnostic.
- Then I would waste no more time and transfer all important data to an external drive.

Thats where the advanced boot options come from. useful reference cc cleaner and sfc /scannow was supposed to be ran.. You can buy an external hard drive enclosure. It does not sound like you are actually booting from the CD. Error Code 0f00 1332

So I resintalled Windows along with everything else*. If your system has been running for a while with no problems then why would you want to "changing the SATA from AHCI to ATA". Get them to send you a new HDD and restore disks. which indicate that your system is having a corrupt registry entries.Which is consistent with my symptoms.
