To eliminate this error, I removed the site.xml file that is unzipped into the root directory.

Thank you and well done. If not, those plug-ins are obviously invalid.

After installing EclipseME in this manner going to Help->Software Updates gave me the Error retrieving "feature.xml" problem. Do you remember how did you install the last Eclipse plugin?
