after some research I've read that beginning the install with 10.4 and using it's disk utility might help me get passed that, without having to buy a new SSD. How do I fix it?? I resolved this by using USB 2 port on the CH-528T media dashboard. It seems that whenever I use any of the newer versions (0.8.x) I get the EBIOS read error as soon as I boot from the USB stick. When I restarted it went through the Dell setup screen then just a blinking cursor.
