I added this to my org.chameleon.boot.plist and it solved the problem :

Resolved by making following change in BIOS: Load system BIOS and press F2 to enter Classic Mode. In Peripherals tab USB Storage Devices section click on Generic Storage Device 0.00 and change Ebios Read Error Error 0x0c Discussion for newbies and experienced users alike on the Dell Mini 9, Dell Mini 10 and many other Dell Products.

I do see the light in my flash drive blink. When I started my mini9 and booted from the usb drive, low and behold I didn't get the EBIOS Media Error that I had got before. I added this to my org.chameleon.boot.plist and it solved the problem :

It seems to me that I shouldn't be able to access the Setup screens if it's bricked. I went to re-install and this is where I get the EBIOS errors. b) If the problem are bad clusters or sectors, 15 minutes its ok, if not, probably hours, but the mac mini will boot up.
